N & J's "A Week of my FAVORITE Beauty Products: PROBLEM SOLVERS!"

"I need this pimple to be gone by like 8:00 tonight."...."I hate razor burn, go away"...."Can this black eye makeup PLEASE come off?!"...."These aren't bags, this is luggage under my eyes!"

We all have something. And these are the solutions to the most common problems I get asked about:

1. TendSkin - Invented randomly by a dentist, this potion zaps ingrown hairs and clears & prevents razor burn with this convenient little roll-on bottle. Perfect for bikini lines, underarms, men's necks, faces etc - also great for after waxing or laser hair removal treatments. My boyfriend said it "saved his life" and I will use nothing else either. (It does sting a little when you put it on, one of the main ingredients is alcohol. It's OK!) $17.00, www.sephora.com
2. DERMAdoctor KP Duty Body Scrub - Basically the best body scrub out there. Whether you have body acne, eczema, keratosis pilaris (chicken bumps)...this is "medical-quality" exfoliation that seriously works. $44.00, www.sephora.com
3. Kate Somerville EradiKate Acne Treatment- This stuff smells like sulfur hell and looks like calamine lotion, but it does the job of zapping pimples better & faster than I've ever seen in my life. Forget the drugstore stuff. This is the champion. It's best worn as a nightly spot treatment, but if it's a major one- I'd have that stuff on while you're watching Modern Family too. $22.00, www.sephora.com
4. Lancome BI-FACIL Double Action Eye Makeup Remover - LOVE. THIS. STUFF. Shake the bottle up(really), put it on a cotton ball and gently wipe away. Amazing. I'm never without it. $26.00, www.sephora.com
5. Peter Thomas Roth Cucumber Cooling Gel Mask- So this is actually a facial masque, but I also love to use it under my eyes if I'm feeling a little puffy! Peter Thomas Roth is a genius and this product represents! N&J tip: store it in the refrigerator to make it extra refreshing! $45.00, www.peterthomasroth.com
6. Rosebud Salve - Especially amazing for the cold winter months when lips are prone to chapping, this is the best little tin of rose smelling heaven you could ask for. $6.00, www.sephora.com
7. Suave Dry Shampoo - It's actually a good thing to skip days between washing your hair. So Dry Shampoo comes to the rescue for soaking up hair's natural oils and also adding body & texture. I love this one for the price, the smell and it works perfectly! $6.99, Any local drugstore
8. Clarisonic 'Mia' - One of my favorite products OF ALL TIME. Use it every other morning with your favorite face wash and watch dry skin, clogged pores & acne disappear! My skin completely changed when I started using it. Look forward to a face that is softer, smoother and glowing!  $119.00, www.clarisonic.com
9. Bounce Lint Roller- A lint roller that changed the game - it smells like dryer sheets! And it's the really good sticky paper too, not like the Scotch Brand ones that don't pick up anything (sorry Scotch, it's true). OH and they make it in a mini travel size! $3.99, www.drugstore.com
10. Caudalie Hand and Nail Cream - This hand cream is made from french grapes. So that sold me at first! But it really is so amazing- loaded with antioxidants, smells like grapes and orange blossom and keeps your hands & cuticles soft!  Definitely one of my 'go-to' products all year round. $19.00, www.sephora.com
11. Bliss High Intensity Hand Cream -This is the one that you put on at night with the gloves and you wake up with new hands. Like "Death Becomes Her" potion kind-of stuff. One of Bliss's best sellers and my personal favorites. $18.00, www.sephora.com
12. Maderma SPF 30 - I'll spare you the grisly story of what happened to my foot, but there were stitches involved and weeks later - a scar. I researched (as I do everything) and found this to have the best reviews. So I used it every day, a little in the morning, a little on lunch (when no-one was looking), and a little before I went to bed...EVERY DAY for 3 months. I know it sounds like a lot but listen, you can barely see where my scar was now. I did have to wait for everything to heal to start, and it also works on older scars too.
